KAF International Project GTC Co. WLL is seeking skilled Business Development Electrical Engineers to join their team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This role blends deep electrical engineering expertise with strategic business development to drive growth and secure high-value projects in the oil, gas, and industrial sectors. Candidates with around 7-8 years of experience in electrical engineering within technical sales, contracting, or project management will thrive in this position.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Electrical Engineer will be responsible for verifying and guiding Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed design packages in oil and gas projects. The role demands integrating engineering knowledge with sound business judgment to support strategic decision-making and stakeholder management. Responsibilities also include identifying new business opportunities in construction, contracting, and industry, analyzing tenders, preparing technical and commercial offers, and designing client solutions.

Additionally, this position focuses on fostering lasting relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors to expand market presence. Candidates will lead electrical power system studies, scoping papers, and economic analyses, alongside identifying and developing investment opportunities within major oil, gas, and chemical projects. Conducting techno-economic studies, supporting due diligence, valuation analysis, and ensuring compliance with Aramco and international electrical standards during FEED reviews are also key tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 7-8 years of experience in electrical engineering related to technical sales, contracting, or project engineering within the oil and gas, refining, or petrochemical industries, especially with ARAMCO or in the KSA region.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, power system studies, equipment specifications, and financial valuation techniques.
• Proven capability in developing executive-level presentations, briefings, and reports.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, with technical proficiency in electrical systems such as switchgear and renewable energy technologies.
• Proficiency in tender management processes and technical-commercial offer preparation.
• A valid driving license for client site visits is preferred.
