Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable Cloud Administrator with over three years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, and maintaining optimal performance within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure and overseeing virtual machine administration. Key duties include implementing security hardening practices, addressing vulnerabilities, monitoring cloud services, and enforcing access controls. Additionally, the role involves optimizing costs, managing backups, and ensuring disaster recovery readiness.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, Compute Engine (Virtual Machines), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)
• Experience with Security Center and cloud monitoring tools to ensure system integrity
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Strong understanding of cost optimization strategies and resource management in cloud environments
• Ability to develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with a background in vulnerability remediation and security enhancement within cloud platforms will have an advantage. A solid track record of maintaining compliance and access control in accordance with organizational policies is highly desirable.
