Al-Kuthban Engineering & Project Management Consultants, based in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is looking for a dedicated Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This position is ideal for entry to mid-level professionals with 1 to 2 years of experience who want to develop their skills in a fast-paced engineering and project management setting.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting various accounting functions focused on project cost control, budget monitoring, and comprehensive financial reporting. You will handle inventory tracking, reconciliation, and maintain precise financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and expense documents. Utilizing accounting ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally and advanced Microsoft Excel tools will be essential. Additional duties include assisting with VAT compliance, preparing for audits, and supporting monthly and annual financial closings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, accompanied by 1 to 2 years of practical accounting experience, preferably within the engineering or construction sectors. Strong proficiency in MS Excel, particularly with functions like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, is expected. Experience with ERP accounting software platforms is mandatory. Candidates should possess a good understanding of cost accounting and inventory control principles. Fluency in English is required, while Arabic language skills will be considered an asset. The role demands high integrity, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
