Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Khobar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling essential accounting duties, maintaining accurate financial records, and liaising with clients and suppliers. This role involves day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice management, and providing general administrative support to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant will manage several accounting tasks, including:

• Maintaining daily accounting records and bookkeeping activities
• Preparing and recording invoices, receipts, and payment transactions
• Following up with clients on outstanding payments and coordinating with suppliers regarding invoices
• Assisting in bank reconciliations and tracking company expenses
• Managing petty cash documentation
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports for management review
• Organizing and maintaining company documents and filing systems
• Providing support with document control and general administrative duties
• Communicating financial updates with management as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

The candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
• One to three years of accounting experience is preferred
• Familiarity with basic accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a small business setting efficiently

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with small company accounting operations
• Understanding of VAT regulations applicable within Saudi Arabia
• Experience with Zoho accounting software is an advantage
• Applicants of Indian nationality are preferred
