Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Logistics Officer to join our team based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing procurement and logistics operations within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region, ensuring efficient supply chain management and vendor relations.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will handle the full spectrum of procurement activities including identifying suppliers, issuing requests for quotations, negotiating terms, and processing purchase orders. They will also be responsible for coordinating both local and international logistics, managing imports and exports, customs clearance, and freight coordination. Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and monitoring delivery schedules to ensure timely supply to project sites are essential duties. Additionally, the candidate will oversee procurement costs and budgets, while preparing regular reports and documentation related to both procurement and logistics functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 10 years of proven experience in procurement and logistics within Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
- In-depth knowledge of local supplier markets and logistics procedures.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities to effectively manage vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in ERP/Fluto systems alongside Microsoft Office applications.
- Holding a valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
