Job Overview
Super Power General Cont. (SPGC) is urgently seeking skilled Quality Control Inspectors with marine industry experience for various long-term positions based in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The available roles include Piping QC Inspector, Structural QC Inspector, Coating QC Inspector, and Material Receiving QC Inspector. Candidates should have a minimum of 6 to 7 years of relevant experience within marine engineering, specifically in ship and rig construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality assessments in marine engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Perform non-destructive testing and welding inspections aligned with certification requirements.
- Verify the quality and integrity of piping, structural components, coatings, and received materials in marine settings.
- Document findings and prepare detailed inspection reports to support project quality assurance.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams to maintain quality standards throughout all phases of marine construction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
- Certification in CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI for Piping and Structural QC Inspectors.
- NACE Level II certification for Coating QC Inspectors.
- Strong understanding of marine quality control processes, standards, and regulations.
- Proven experience working in shipbuilding and rig construction environments, demonstrating familiarity with marine-specific quality requirements.
- Ability to work independently and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
Additional Requirements
- Valid Iqama and Muqeem with a minimum of three months’ validity.
- Medical fitness certificate and insurance coverage compliant with the local regulations.
- Online chamber registration and a valid Commercial Registration (CR) where applicable.
