Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and ARAMCO-approved Rigger III to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling rigging operations within the oil and gas sector, ensuring all lifting and rigging tasks meet strict safety standards. This position offers an attractive salary package and other benefits, with preference given to candidates currently based within Saudi Arabia holding a transferable Iqama.
Key Responsibilities
The Rigger III will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, and winches. This involves:
- Safely moving heavy materials on the rig site using appropriate rigging techniques.
- Conducting thorough inspections and maintenance of rigging gear, including slings, shackles, and spreader bars, in compliance with ARAMCO safety standards.
- Calculating load weights accurately and choosing the correct rigging hardware to avoid accidents and damage.
- Providing clear signals and instructions to crane operators and other team members involved in lifting activities.
- Strictly following ARAMCO safety protocols, actively participating in safety meetings, and contributing to hazard assessments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ hands-on rigging experience, preferably within offshore or onshore oil and gas rig operations.
- Valid ARAMCO-approved Rigger III certification or an equivalent credential recognized by Saudi Aramco.
- Completion of high school or equivalent education.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate and comprehend safety procedures.
- Strong knowledge of ARAMCO safety standards, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and permit-to-work systems.
- Excellent physical fitness and the ability to work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and under challenging environmental conditions.
