Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join an industrial facility in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment used in sectors such as oil and gas, power generation, chemical, manufacturing, and water treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities

The E&I Technician will handle a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

• Installing and performing maintenance on electrical equipment like motors, transformers, switchgear, and motor control centers (MCCs).
• Calibrating and maintaining instrumentation such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to PLC, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and other control systems.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and loop drawings.
• Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Following safety regulations including electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in electrical wiring, testing, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experienced in calibrating various industrial instruments.
• Basic knowledge of PLC and DCS operations and fault diagnostics.
• Skilled in the use of testing tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and calibration devices.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols and best practices.

Qualifications

A diploma or ITI certification in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related technical fields is required. Additional certifications in instrumentation, calibration, or industrial safety will enhance the candidate’s prospects.
