Job Overview

Express Arabia General Contracting is seeking a skilled Material Controller to join their team in Jubail. This is a long-term position based in Turaif-Maaden, focusing on efficient material and warehouse management for industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience handling equipment, piping, and structural steel materials.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will manage material receiving and inspection procedures, oversee material issuing controls, and assist the Quality Control (QC) team during material inspection activities. This includes preparing necessary documentation, verifying material identification, and supporting site inspections. Collaboration with QC, warehouse team, construction personnel, and suppliers is essential to ensure smooth materials management and logistics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in material management or warehouse management, preferably within industrial projects involving equipment, piping, and structural steel.
• Knowledgeable about material receiving and inspection processes, including the material inspection request (IR) system.
• Experienced in verifying common material documents such as Material Test Certificates (MTC), Packing Lists, and Delivery Notes.
• Basic ability to read and interpret material specifications, grades, and sizes from drawings.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and coordination skills to work effectively in a multi-person environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic MS Office tools for tracking stock and updating data.
• Detail-oriented with a responsible attitude, able to adapt comfortably to a site warehouse setting.
• Basic English reading and writing skills sufficient for understanding material documentation and labels.

Work Environment

The role requires working onsite at industrial project locations, demanding hands-on interaction with warehouse teams and continuous coordination with construction and QC teams. The environment is dynamic and requires flexibility and diligence.
