Job Overview
IAC is seeking experienced Welding QC Inspectors to join a leading EPC client project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. We require 20 qualified inspectors with strong welding inspection expertise. Candidates with or without Aramco approval are welcome to apply, provided they meet the essential qualification criteria. This role involves room-to-room duties ensuring welding quality in oil, gas, and petrochemical environments.
Key Responsibilities
The Welding QC Inspector will be responsible for overseeing welding activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international welding codes. The role demands thorough inspection, documentation, and reporting of welding processes adhering to Saudi Aramco engineering standards and related international regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 6 years of overall experience including 3 years in welding inspection and 2 years in the contract’s scope of work.
- Certification as an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), CSWIP 3.1, or an equivalent company-approved certification.
- ASNT Level II certification in relevant non-destructive testing methods is mandatory.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of codes such as ASME B31.3, ASME Section V and IX, and AWS D1.1.
- Fluency in English—reading, writing, and speaking.
- Licensed by the applicable regulatory bodies to perform assigned duties in line with Saudi Aramco Engineering Requirements and international standards.
Additional Information
Both Aramco-approved and non-CBT certified candidates will be considered. Prior experience in oil, gas, and petrochemical projects is highly desirable. The role requires strict adherence to quality and safety standards throughout the inspection process.
