Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Project Scheduler / Planning Engineer with expertise in Primavera P6 (Professional / EPPM) to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure efficient project delivery and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take charge of creating baseline project schedules using Primavera P6. Responsibilities include setting up and managing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), defining activities, establishing relationships, and configuring calendars. You will also perform resource and cost loading activities, update schedules regularly based on progress, and analyze the critical path, float, and any project delays.

In addition, the role involves preparing schedule variance reports, developing recovery and acceleration plans, and producing essential reports such as S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and project dashboards. Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and construction teams is key to ensure alignment and address scheduling risks promptly. Experience supporting claims, Extensions of Time (EOT), and delay analysis is mandatory for success in this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in Primavera P6 Professional and EPPM for project scheduling and planning
• Strong understanding of Work Breakdown Structures, activity sequencing, and calendar customization
• Experience with resource and cost loading within project schedules
• Ability to monitor project progress weekly and monthly, and update schedules accordingly
• Solid skills in analyzing critical paths, floats, delays, and their impacts on project timelines
• Capacity to develop schedule recovery strategies and generate comprehensive performance reports
• Excellent coordination and communication skills for liaising across different project teams
• Knowledge of claims preparation, Extension of Time requests, and delay analysis procedures
