Job Overview
We are urgently seeking two qualified PWHT QC Inspectors for a reputable EPC client in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a solid background in welding inspection and quality control within oil, gas, and petrochemical projects, especially those familiar with Saudi Aramco standards. Both Aramco approved and Non-CBT certified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) inspections as per project specifications and Saudi Aramco engineering requirements.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards including ASME B31.3, ASME Section V and IX, and AWS D1.1.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and document findings accurately for project records.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure quality adherence throughout the welding and heat treatment processes.
- Maintain continuous communication with supervisors and teams during room-to-room duty assignments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years of experience, with at least 3 years specialized in inspection and 2 years related to contract scopes in oil and gas or petrochemical sectors.
- Certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) through the American Welding Society, CSWIP 3.1, or an equivalent company-approved certification.
- ASNT Level II certification in the relevant inspection methods is mandatory.
- Strong understanding and practical knowledge of welding codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, ASME Section V and IX, and AWS D1.1.
- Fluent in English with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Licensed by the relevant regulatory body to practice in accordance with Saudi Aramco standards and international regulations.
Additional Information
This position requires the candidate to perform duties on a room-to-room basis, maintaining strict quality control procedures throughout the work. Both Aramco approved and Non-CBT certified inspectors will be considered, offering flexibility for qualified professionals.
