Job Overview
IAC is urgently seeking two qualified PWHT QC Inspectors for an EPC client based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role involves thorough inspection duties and requires candidates to be Aramco approved, though non-CBT accreditation is also acceptable. The position demands professionals with a strong background in oil, gas, and petrochemical projects, adhering to Saudi Aramco engineering standards and international codes.
Key Responsibilities
The PWHT QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable standards during project execution. This includes conducting inspections related to Post Weld Heat Treatment processes, verifying welding quality, and maintaining adherence to project specifications and safety regulations. The role requires performing inspections according to codes such as ASME B31.3, ASME Section V and IX, and AWS D1.1, ensuring that all contracted scopes of work meet quality and safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years specializing in inspection and 2 years in contract-related tasks within the oil, gas, or petrochemical sectors.
- Professional certification as an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector, or an equivalent company-approved qualification.
- ASNT Level II certification in the relevant NDT method(s) is mandatory.
- Demonstrated proficiency with key codes such as ASME B31.3, ASME Sections V and IX, and AWS D1.1.
- Fluent English skills for reading, writing, and communication.
- Current licensure from the applicable regulatory authority to practice inspection duties in compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Requirements and international standards.
