Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Transformer and RMU (SF6) Service Technician or Engineer to join industrial and utility projects based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for professionals skilled in transformer maintenance and SF6 gas handling, offering hands-on involvement in critical electrical equipment servicing and testing.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of technical tasks including:

• Performing transformer oil filtration, replacement, and safe handling
• Conducting electrical tests such as insulation resistance (IR), winding resistance, and transformer turns ratio (TTR)
• Carrying out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on transformers
• Managing SF6 gas operations for RMUs including refilling, evacuation, and leakage detection
• Testing and servicing medium voltage (MV) equipment and RMUs with accuracy
• Preparing detailed test reports in line with project quality and safety standards

Essential Skills and Requirements

• Proven experience in transformer maintenance and electrical testing methodologies
• Practical knowledge of SF6 gas handling and RMU servicing
• Understanding of safety protocols and site-specific procedures in industrial contexts
• Ability to operate independently and efficiently on utility and industrial projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in Saudi Arabia or wider GCC electrical projects
• Immediate availability to join the project site
