Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior and Junior Electrical Technicians to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The contract duration is six months and involves performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on various electrical systems and equipment. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring optimal operational reliability and safety in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

The technicians will carry out routine preventive maintenance tasks such as inspecting, testing, cleaning, tightening, and lubricating electrical components. Daily activities include insulation resistance testing, continuity verification, motor maintenance, UPS servicing, and upkeep of lighting, distribution boards, and control panels. Additionally, keeping accurate maintenance logs and reporting any irregularities is essential.

In corrective maintenance, technicians respond promptly to electrical faults by troubleshooting and repairing issues with motors, pumps, breakers, relays, switches, contactors, and internal wiring systems. Emergency responses for breakdowns, cable fault identification, and motor troubleshooting are crucial parts of the role. Regular inspection and repair of indoor, outdoor, and street lighting are also required.

Handling electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), UPS systems, battery banks, and circuit breakers (ACB, MCCB, MCB) will be part of daily duties. Tasks include cable termination, glanding, jointing, and calibration of protective relays and metering devices. Coordination with mechanical teams is necessary when dealing with motor or pump issues.

Supporting technicians during shutdowns, outages, and electrical system overhauls is required. Participation in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training programs is expected to maintain a safe working environment. Maintaining work area cleanliness and providing maintenance reports through SAP are integral responsibilities. On-call support duties involve responding to power failures and electrical emergencies outside normal working hours.

Required Skills and Experience

• Senior Electrical Technicians should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Junior Electrical Technicians must have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical maintenance schedules and safety protocols.
• Experience working with motors, UPS systems, lighting, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, MCCs, and control panels.
• Capability to perform electrical testing, calibration, and fault rectification efficiently.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with mechanical teams and supervisors.

Requirements

Candidates are required to submit the following documents: Documented Iqama, Muqeem, Chamber Ajeer agreement, CV, passport-size photograph, and recent blood test report. FAT management will be handled by the employer.
