Job Overview

A leading petrochemical company in Jubail is seeking a skilled Rotating Equipment Engineer to join their team on an urgent basis. This position offers a valuable chance to contribute to a dynamic industrial environment, specializing in rotating machinery maintenance and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining rotating equipment within the petrochemical or related heavy industrial sectors. This includes conducting condition monitoring, carrying out root cause analysis (RCA), performing failure investigations, and developing maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with rotating equipment in petrochemical, oil and gas, steel, or similar heavy industries.
• Strong knowledge of condition monitoring methods such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound testing, and oil analysis.
• Practical experience with predictive maintenance programs and technologies.
• Proficiency in conducting root cause failure investigations and implementing effective maintenance strategies.
• Category II certification is preferred.

Additional Information

Familiarity with various predictive maintenance technologies (PDM), including vibration monitoring and other condition-based techniques, will be highly advantageous. The role demands a meticulous approach to ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.
