Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Planning Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry, particularly within Gulf countries. This role is ideal for professionals looking to transfer their Iqama locally and who have substantial experience in mechanical planning, maintenance, shutdown, and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning mechanical engineering activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and calculating man-hours accurately. You will contribute to the successful delivery of projects by applying your expertise in scheduling tools and collaborating closely with project teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience as a Mechanical Planning Engineer.
• Proven experience in the oil and gas sector within Gulf countries; working on ARAMCO or SABIC projects is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience managing planning for maintenance, shutdowns, and construction initiatives.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of resource loading techniques and standard man-hour calculations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to work effectively within teams.
• Ability to collaborate as a committed team player.
