Position: Piping Engineer / Piping QC Inspector
Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Chemical Plants
Job Description & Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of piping isometric drawings, P&ID, and general arrangement drawings.
* Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Experience in oil, gas, petrochemical, or chemical industry projects.
* Good knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI, and related piping standards.
* Familiar with piping materials, fittings, valves, and piping fabrication processes.
* Ability to check and verify piping installation according to approved drawings and project specifications.
* Experience in pre-fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
* Ability to prepare and verify as-built isometric drawings and related engineering documents.
* Knowledge of inspection procedures, quality control documentation, and reporting.
* Experience in hydro testing, line checking, punch listing, and final inspection.
* Ability to coordinate with construction team, welding inspectors, and client representatives.
* Good knowledge of safety standards and site work procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Piping Engineering.
* Minimum 3–5 years experience in piping works in oil & gas projects.
* Experience in Gulf projects (Saudi Arabia preferred).
* Familiar with QA/QC documentation, method statements, and inspection reports.
