Job Overview

We are looking to hire a skilled Mechanical Engineer with over 5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia to join our team in Jubail. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contracting and construction projects, with expertise in mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting. This role requires hands-on site supervision and coordination to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing mechanical operations at construction sites, ensuring work is completed according to technical drawings and project specifications. Coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and various project teams will be crucial for smooth workflow. The candidate will also monitor project progress while maintaining quality and safety standards. Preparation and management of material submittals, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and regular progress reports are part of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in contracting or construction projects within Saudi Arabia
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, and general mechanical installations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawings and MS Office for documentation
• Strong project coordination abilities and site supervision experience
• Experience in handling technical documentation and preparing reports
• A valid driving license is considered an advantage

Work Environment

This position involves active site presence, requiring a hands-on approach to ensure all mechanical systems are installed and executed efficiently and safely. The role supports a collaborative atmosphere involving multiple stakeholders such as consultants and subcontractors.
