Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Material Receiving Inspector specializing in Mechanical materials for a long-term opportunity based in Jafurah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves thorough inspection and verification of mechanical materials against approved documents, standards, and project specifications, ensuring full compliance before acceptance. The position is ARAMCO approved and requires immediate availability for mobilization.

Key Responsibilities

The inspector will be responsible for receiving inspections of mechanical materials, verifying vendor documentation, and reviewing construction drawings alongside vendor reports prior to inspection. Working closely with the Contractor Material team, Project Management Team, and Project Inspectors, the role includes coordination and supporting the Korean QA/QC manager, engineers, and supervisors.

Additional duties encompass supervising quality control inspection activities, conducting witness inspections and tests following the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), and ensuring compliance with all technical requirements as well as local regulations regarding material receipt.

Required Skills and Knowledge

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience inspecting mechanical materials and in-depth knowledge of recognized codes such as ASTM, API, IEC, NEMA, UL, FM, NFPA, ASME BPVC (Sections I, V, VIII, and IX), ANSI/ASME B31 series, NACE standards, API 620, API 650, and AWS D1.1 or equivalent.

A strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements, engineering drawings, material specifications, construction methods, and quality control inspection procedures is essential. The candidate will also perform document reviews, inspections, and testing functions with minimal supervision to ensure contractor adherence to contract specifications.

Requirements

• High School diploma, technical Diploma, or Degree in a relevant field.
• Current API certifications including API 653 and API 510.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
• At least 3 years of direct experience as a Material Receiving Inspector – Mechanical on ARAMCO project sites working with EPC contractors.
• Thorough knowledge of static and rotating mechanical equipment, commodities, and pre-commissioning quality activities.
• Ability to mobilize immediately upon selection.
