Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Instrumentation Engineer to join our project team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems, ensuring they meet project requirements and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting IFC drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets. This role requires supervising the installation of various field instruments, including pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analyzers. Coordination with electrical, mechanical, and process teams during project execution is essential to ensure seamless integration. The engineer will also carry out loop checking, calibration, support FAT/SAT, and manage commissioning activities. Ensuring compliance with project specifications, IEC/ISA standards, and safety protocols is a critical aspect of this position. Additionally, preparing technical reports, method statements, and maintaining accurate as-built documentation is required, alongside collaborating with clients to resolve any technical challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering and be registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers. A valid transferable IQAMA is mandatory. The role demands between 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within industrial projects. Strong expertise in instrumentation systems, including control panels and PLC/DCS interfaces, is necessary. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, RC, and SEC standards will be an advantage. Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently under tight project deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Oil & Gas, Power Plants, or Water Treatment projects is highly desirable. Candidates who have previously worked in Saudi Arabia will be preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD software is considered a plus but not mandatory.
