Job Overview

We are actively seeking a highly skilled QA Supervisor specializing in Mechanical, Rotating, and Static equipment to join a leading petrochemical facility in Saudi Arabia’s Western Region. This urgent position offers a 6-month contract at a competitive rate of 82 SAR per hour. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards during maintenance, asset integrity, and turnaround projects.

Key Responsibilities

The QA Supervisor will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing quality assurance procedures and plans in alignment with international standards. Key duties include reviewing and approving Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), leading QA/QC activities for mechanical assets such as rotating machinery, piping, and valves, and managing contractor quality performance. The role also involves supervising maintenance shutdowns and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API, ASME, IEC, and OEM requirements. Additionally, the candidate will handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and present quality improvement recommendations to management.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal applicant will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering along with 12 to 15 years of hands-on experience in refinery, petrochemical, or oil and gas maintenance QA/QC. Expertise in quality management systems, audit processes, and contractor quality assurance is essential. Familiarity with industry standards such as API 580/581, API 571, API 982, and ASME codes will be highly advantageous. Strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities are necessary to coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure adherence to quality KPIs through SAP/CMMS tools.
