Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician with proven experience to join our team at Dammam. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. Immediate availability is preferred for this role.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Technician will handle a variety of technical tasks including:

• Assembling and installing mechanical components and machinery based on engineering specifications, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Ensuring proper alignment and calibration of pumps and other rotary equipment to optimize performance.
• Carrying out routine maintenance to keep machines operating efficiently and conducting inspections to detect wear or damage early.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, repairing or replacing faulty parts such as bearings, mechanical seals, valves, and pumps.
• Adjusting mechanical components to reduce wear and improve equipment longevity.
• Strictly following safety procedures and protocols while working with machinery and hazardous materials.
• Participating in safety meetings, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills, and reporting any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of maintenance activities, inspection results, repairs, and operational issues.
• Performing quality control checks to ensure all repaired or installed equipment meets engineering and safety requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Solid hands-on experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, valves, and rotary equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings clearly.
• Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to efficiently identify and repair mechanical faults.
• Understanding and strict adherence to safety standards and procedures.
• Good record-keeping skills to document maintenance and repair work accurately.
• Effective communication skills to report issues and collaborate with the maintenance team.
• Availability for immediate joining is highly preferred.
