Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical QC Engineer to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role demands a professional with a minimum of five years’ hands-on experience in electrical installation, testing, and quality control inspection. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work meets the highest quality standards according to relevant codes and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical QC Engineer will oversee and verify electrical installation activities, including cable laying, glanding, termination, panel installation, and earthing systems. This role involves detailed inspection and testing, reviewing electrical drawings and specifications, and handling commissioning tasks. The engineer will also manage client and consultant inspections, ensuring all non-conformance reports (NCRs) and remarks are addressed and closed efficiently.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Electrical QC Inspector with practical exposure to installation and inspection.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems such as cable laying, termination, panel setup, and earthing.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and test documentation.
• Experience with testing and commissioning electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with IEC, NEC, IEEE, and other relevant project standards and codes.
• Strong ability to manage QA/QC documentation including ITPs, QCPs, MIRs, WIRs, test reports, and daily reports.
• Capable of working independently while maintaining precise and thorough documentation.

Qualifications and Certifications

A relevant electrical diploma or degree is required, and having a QC certification is preferred. Candidates must hold a valid Iqama and insurance to apply.

Compensation and Terms

The offered rate for this position is 35 SAR per hour. Payment will be made 45 days after timesheet submission. Immediate joiners will be given preference.
