Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corporate QA/QC Manager to lead and manage quality assurance and control initiatives across multiple projects. This role involves overseeing compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, project specifications, contract requirements, and company policies. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, audit compliance, and consistent QA/QC performance within a large-scale engineering operation based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
The Corporate QA/QC Manager will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership and direction to the corporate QA/QC function, ensuring alignment with overall company quality management systems.
- Managing the day-to-day activities of the QA/QC team, in line with company policies and budgets.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO standards, quality management procedures, and safety regulations relevant to all company projects.
- Supporting the development and training of Saudi national employees to meet Saudization targets and foster knowledge sharing and internal capability building.
- Driving quality assurance audits, risk mitigation initiatives, and the implementation of corrective actions across projects.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for the QA/QC teams and developing continuous improvement plans.
- Coordinating periodic quality audits and maintaining the Quality Management System throughout project sites.
- Collaborating closely with corporate management to report and review QA/QC team performance during project review meetings.
- Ensuring strict adherence to the company’s Code of Ethics, maintaining high standards of integrity, respect, and corporate governance.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Certification as an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Lead Internal Auditor.
- Extensive experience implementing and managing ISO compliance and certification processes within a corporate environment.
- At least 20 years of senior QA/QC experience in a similarly sized operation, preferably with corporate oversight responsibilities.
- Previous experience working in the Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a culture of quality and accountability across diverse teams.
