Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Autoline Duct Machine Operator to join our engineering team in Jubail. This role involves managing the setup and operation of automated production lines that manufacture HVAC ductwork from metal coils. Precision, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards are essential to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities

The operator will be responsible for configuring and running machines that handle decoiling, leveling, beading, punching, and cutting metal sheets to exact specifications. The role includes programming CNC interfaces to input duct dimensions and processing parameters, such as cut lengths and notch types, through touchscreen controls.

Loading and exchanging heavy metal coils like galvanized steel or aluminum safely with forklifts or cranes is required, ensuring correct positioning on the feeding frame. Regular quality inspections must be performed to verify that the ducts meet strict tolerance requirements, including length accuracy and correct folds.

Routine upkeep such as lubricating machine parts, monitoring hydraulic fluids, and inspecting cutting blades forms part of daily duties. The operator will also troubleshoot mechanical or software issues to limit production downtime. Maintaining compliance with workplace safety protocols, including emergency stops and guarding mechanisms, is mandatory when working with sharp materials and heavy machinery.

Skills and Requirements

Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with vocational training in manufacturing or CNC operation considered advantageous. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of practical experience operating similar machinery is preferred.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds regularly is necessary. Proficiency in reading tape measures to 1/16 inch and interpreting technical manuals and drawings is essential to ensure accuracy and quality. The operator must coordinate with consultants, engineers, and QA/QC inspectors to meet project specifications and regulatory standards, while ensuring tools and materials are stored and handled properly.

Compensation and Application

The salary range for this position is 1500 to 2300 SAR basic, along with FATI and overtime compensation in accordance with Saudi labor laws.
