Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson and Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in AutoCAD to join our construction team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience preparing and reviewing 2D shop drawings, layout plans, and as-built drawings, alongside developing accurate quantity surveys and material take-offs. This role demands precision, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to manage documentation effectively to support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings, sectional drawings, and isometrics derived from IFC drawings and project specifications. Preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Material Take-Offs (MTO), and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) is essential. Close collaboration with engineers, architects, and site teams is vital to ensure all drawings are accurate and feasible for construction. Additionally, the role involves revising drawings based on consultant or client feedback and site changes while maintaining thorough documentation and revision control.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 4 to 8 years of proven experience specializing as an AutoCAD Draftsperson, with Revit experience considered an advantage.
• Strong command of civil and MEP construction materials and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong organizational and time management skills.
