Job Overview

Hamdan Engineering and Construction is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer cum Supervisor to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region and fluency in English. The role involves on-site supervision as well as technical measurement and quantity surveying tasks. Candidates must hold a valid Saudi or GCC driving license as it is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising civil engineering activities and ensuring project standards are met efficiently. Key duties include:

• Operating surveying instruments such as auto level, dumpy level, and total station.
• Extracting quantities and measurements from project drawings for quantity surveying (QS) purposes.
• Overseeing daily site operations and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of civil engineering and supervisory experience within Saudi Arabia or GCC countries.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Hands-on experience with surveying equipment including total station, auto level, and dumpy level.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings for quantity take-offs.
• Mandatory possession of a valid Saudi or GCC driving license; applications without this will not be considered.

Employment Details and Benefits

This position offers a fixed 10-hour workday, with overtime compensated beyond standard hours. The salary is competitive and will be confirmed after the interview, typically ranging between 3,000 SAR and 4,000 SAR per month. The company provides accommodation, iqama sponsorship, and a company vehicle as part of the employment package.

Work Environment

The role entails working at construction sites in Saudi Arabia, requiring hands-on supervision and coordination with various teams. Candidates must be prepared for the responsibilities of site management and continuous adherence to project timelines and safety protocols.
