Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil AutoCAD Draftsperson and Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience preparing and modifying precise 2D AutoCAD drawings, including shop drawings, layouts, and as-built plans. This role involves close coordination with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure all drawings meet project specifications and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed shop drawings, sectional drawings, and isometric drawings based on IFC drawings and project specifications. They will prepare bill of materials (BBS), bills of quantities (BOQ), and material take-offs (MTO) aligned with IFC documentation. Maintaining accuracy and constructability throughout the drafting process is essential, including accommodating revisions based on consultant or client feedback and adapting to on-site conditions.

Additional duties include managing drawing registers, controlling revisions, and supporting the project execution team by delivering timely and accurate drawings in line with project schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is required.
• At least 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience as an AutoCAD Draftsperson specializing in civil and construction projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of construction drawings, technical details, and civil & MEP construction materials.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team.
• Exceptional attention to detail, along with effective time management skills.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be able to physically attend a test at the company’s head office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Travel allowances or daily allowances (TA/DA) will not be provided.
