Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable Procurement Officer to join a prominent food manufacturing company located in Jeddah’s Second Industrial City. This role focuses on managing the procurement of essential spare parts, consumables, and operational materials to support production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure spare parts, consumables, and other operational supplies required by the company.
• Identify and engage qualified suppliers while gathering competitive quotations.
• Assess supplier proposals and negotiate terms including pricing, payment conditions, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring follow-up until materials are received and verified.
• Collaborate closely with the Maintenance, Warehouse, and Finance teams to align procurement activities with operational needs.
• Monitor supplier performance regularly to ensure quality standards and timely deliveries are maintained.
• Maintain thorough and accurate procurement documentation and supplier databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably within food manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
• Demonstrated experience purchasing spare parts and consumables is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills combined with solid analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to manage procurement data effectively.
• Fluent in English with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
