Job Overview

A well-established contracting company located in the Al-Basatin District of Jeddah is looking to hire an experienced Procurement Manager. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in procurement within the construction and contracting industry and demonstrate a proven track record of leadership over a significant period.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all procurement activities related to large-scale construction projects.
• Manage supplier relationships, conduct thorough bid analyses, and implement effective cost control measures.
• Ensure strict compliance with procurement policies and company procedures through robust contract management.
• Negotiate terms and agreements effectively with vendors and suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain the ability to perform efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 20 years of hands-on experience within the construction and contracting industry.
• At least 10 years’ leadership experience as a Procurement Manager or Supply Chain Manager within contracting companies.
• Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Supplier Management are required.
• Expertise in supplier evaluation, bid evaluation, and cost reduction strategies.
• Fluency in Arabic, with strong communication skills in the language, is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong negotiation capabilities coupled with an ability to uphold company standards and policies rigorously in a fast-paced work environment.
