Gulf Medical Co is seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist to join their team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on efficient coordination and management of the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of medical supplies and equipment. The role is integral in maintaining smooth logistics operations from suppliers to hospital delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying order details and checking stock availability. They will place supplier orders promptly, typically within 48 hours, ensuring accuracy in pricing and quantities to match hospital requirements. Coordination of shipment transport from ports to warehouses is a critical aspect, along with continuous communication with suppliers to track shipment progress. Upon receipt, the Logistics Specialist will confirm that shipments arrive in good condition and that all items and quantities align with the order. Timely delivery of items to hospital customers prior to due dates and coordinating with sales teams for internal purchase orders and stock requests are essential duties. The role also involves overseeing the entire order cycle and managing related information systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Candidates should hold a degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities are vital to handle complex logistical tasks accurately. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary to effectively liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and hospital customers.
