Key Responsibilities

The Manager – Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and maintaining the system architecture to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of IT products. Key duties include:

• Evaluating business requirements and identifying the most effective technical solutions.
• Documenting and describing the technical characteristics, structure, and behavior of software systems.
• Developing and updating models of the organization’s current and future application architecture.
• Preparing comprehensive business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licensing, development, and support needs.
• Establishing sustainable application architectures and integration plans.
• Monitoring and recommending improvements for reliability, scalability, security, and performance of systems.
• Collaborating closely with development teams to implement modern technologies and best practices.
• Conducting system analysis to ensure compliance with standards and future-proofing technical designs.
• Managing coding standards, documentation, and quality assurance processes such as code reviews and performance testing.
• Coordinating IT project planning, execution, and risk management to meet business objectives.
• Leading regular updates and communication with stakeholders regarding project progress and technical strategies.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and project management capabilities, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in SOA, Microservices, Web APIs, API Management, MSMQ, RESTful services, and Middleware systems.
• Solid experience in software development lifecycles (SDLC) and system implementation projects.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, including T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and reporting tools such as SSRS and SSIS.
• Deep expertise in coding languages and frameworks such as C#, Java, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Node.js, .NET Core, MVC, Angular.js, and Web API.
• Familiarity with infrastructure components including servers, storage, firewalls, load balancers, and databases.
• Proven background in software architecture design and engineering principles.
• Effective communication skills to liaise across business and technical teams.
