Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT Manager to lead and oversee the IT infrastructure within the industrial and manufacturing environment in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will bring over 12 years of extensive experience in managing complex IT systems, data centers, and enterprise-level applications to ensure smooth and efficient technological operations that support business goals.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of data centers and IT infrastructure. This includes overseeing SAP/ERP systems, ensuring optimal performance of databases, operating systems, servers, and applications. You will lead the virtualization strategies, storage solutions, enterprise servers, and the network architecture encompassing routing and switching mainly using Cisco technologies. The role also involves hardware capacity planning, lifecycle management, and ensuring seamless cross-application integration to meet the dynamic needs of the manufacturing sector.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 12 years of hands-on experience in IT management, preferably within industrial or manufacturing companies.
• Deep expertise in managing SAP/ERP infrastructure and related servers.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies, enterprise storage, and server management, including Dell, HP, or SUN hardware.
• Advanced understanding of network design, Cisco routing and switching, and data center development.
• Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication abilities.
• Customer-focused mindset with capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business users.
• Fluency in English is essential, with Arabic language skills considered a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in hardware sizing and capacity planning, as well as a solid background in network architecture and virtual environments, will be highly advantageous. Practical knowledge of cross-application integration and lifecycle management is also preferred.
