Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on the design, analysis, and supervision of structural systems for warehouses and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure all projects meet safety standards, efficiency goals, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with architects, contractors, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for developing and analyzing structural frameworks, including steel, reinforced concrete, precast elements, and foundation systems. Duties include preparing detailed calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports. The engineer must ensure all designs comply with local and international codes and standards. Coordination with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines is essential for integrated project delivery.

Additional tasks include reviewing shop drawings and material submittals, overseeing construction methods, conducting site inspections, and providing technical guidance during the construction phase. The engineer will also optimize design solutions for cost, constructability, and durability and evaluate existing structures for potential modifications or retrofits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent is preferred or required based on the project location.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in structural engineering, specifically related to warehouses or industrial buildings.
• Strong expertise in steel structures, foundation design, and load analysis.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD, or Tekla.
• Competency in AutoCAD and/or Revit for preparing structural drawings.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction practices and materials.

Work Environment

This position offers a blend of office-based design responsibilities and on-site inspections, requiring occasional travel to project locations within the region. Candidates should be prepared for dynamic work settings that balance technical analysis with field supervision.
