Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Site Engineer specializing in Outside Plant (OSP) fiber optic projects based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves overseeing the installation, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic telecom systems, ensuring all activities comply with technical specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily site operations for telecom projects, particularly in fiber optics. Key duties include supervising installation works, coordinating with subcontractors and technicians, performing site inspections, and addressing any technical challenges promptly. Monitoring the overall project progress and reporting on schedules, risks, and quality metrics will also be essential tasks.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering and have between three to five years of relevant experience, preferably with major telecom operators such as Mobily, STC, Salam, or Zain. A strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, site management, and fiber optic technologies is necessary. Effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to perform under tight deadlines are crucial traits for this position. Holding a valid driving license is an advantage.
