Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer based in Jeddah with a strong background in business development, tendering, and estimation. The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 6 years of relevant experience and demonstrate expertise in areas such as facilities management (FM), mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), contracting, or related fields. This role involves actively identifying new business opportunities, managing client relations, and supporting the preparation and submission of tenders.

Key Responsibilities

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for identifying and tracking tender opportunities through various client portals and other sources. They will thoroughly review tender documentation and collaborate closely with internal departments to gather necessary information. Preparing both commercial and technical proposals is a core part of the role, alongside ensuring timely bid submissions. Maintaining detailed records of tenders, proposals, and business leads and fostering ongoing client relationships is essential for success in this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
• Between 4 and 6 years of experience in business development, tendering, estimation, or sales support roles.
• Prior exposure to FM, MEP, contracting, or facilities management is favorable.
• Strong communication and client management skills to effectively maintain and grow business relationships.
• Familiarity with tender-related documentation including Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Request for Proposal (RFP) enhances candidacy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is essential.
