Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Design Engineers specialized in Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical fields to join our dynamic team based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on designing and developing engineering systems with attention to budget, timelines, and quality standards while collaborating closely with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a Design Engineer, you will play an essential part in planning, executing, and monitoring engineering projects. Your duties include:

• Developing and optimizing system designs while managing cost and scheduling factors
• Regularly reporting project status to Department Heads and senior management
• Conducting tests and experiments to enhance component performance
• Utilizing REVIT, BIM, AutoCAD, and other specialized software for project design and documentation
• Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing effective solutions
• Staying informed on the latest technology trends within the engineering design sector
• Supporting drafting teams in creating accurate shop drawings
• Analyzing schematic drawings for comprehensive understanding of project requirements
• Coordinating with site engineers to resolve onsite technical challenges
• Preparing preliminary designs and bills of quantities essential for procurement
• Participating actively in technical coordination and progress meetings
• Responding promptly to technical queries posed by subcontractors
• Ensuring adherence to international and local building codes in all project stages

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering relevant to the respective specialization (Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical)
• Minimum five years of experience working as a Design Engineer in a related field
• Proficiency in engineering design software including REVIT, BIM, and AutoCAD
• Strong quality assurance mindset and excellent time management abilities
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of both local and international building codes
• Detail-oriented approach combined with effective problem-solving capabilities

Additional Requirements

Applicants must be either Jordanian or Indian nationals. Expatriates should have a valid and transferable Iqama with at least three months remaining. Candidates holding a technician classification in their Iqama are not eligible to apply. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
