Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will oversee and manage electrical and instrumentation activities within industrial and construction projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems on site. You will review and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control schematics, coordinating closely with mechanical, civil, and other engineering disciplines. Preparing material submittals and maintaining technical documentation will be essential parts of your duties. Additionally, monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to management will ensure smooth execution. You will conduct site inspections, quality assurance checks, troubleshoot issues, and liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and suppliers.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in industrial or construction environments. Experience in sectors such as oil and gas, power plants, or water treatment is highly desirable. Proficiency in PLC, SCADA, control systems, and field instrumentation is required. Familiarity with international standards like IEC and NEC is important. Excellent communication abilities and leadership skills are necessary to coordinate teams and maintain site safety and quality.
