Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Electrical and GPS Technician to join our team in Jeddah. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining vehicle electrical and electronic systems, with a particular focus on GPS tracking devices. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems operate efficiently, prioritizing safety and adhering to company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of technical tasks, including but not limited to:

• Installing GPS tracking equipment on vehicles and heavy machinery
• Performing electrical wiring, connections, and system integration
• Configuring devices, conducting testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Managing SIM installation, network setup, and resolving connectivity issues
• Diagnosing electrical faults using specialized diagnostic tools
• Conducting ECU diagnostics and reading OBD fault codes
• Repairing and maintaining vehicle electrical systems such as batteries, alternators, starters, lighting, wiring harnesses, and circuits
• Replacing damaged wiring, connectors, and electrical components
• Testing vehicle systems post-repair or installation to verify functionality
• Performing basic system inspections and preparing detailed installation reports
• Complying with safety guidelines and manufacturer standards
• Producing technical reports and documenting all completed work accurately

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates should demonstrate the following capabilities:

• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and GPS technology
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools for fault identification
• Experience with ECU diagnostics and OBD fault code reading
• Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot GPS tracking devices
• Good understanding of wiring, circuits, and vehicle electrical components
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards
• Effective communication skills to prepare clear technical documentation
