The Senior BMS Sales Engineer will lead sales efforts focusing on BMS and building automation solutions. This hybrid role offers flexibility for both part-time and full-time engagements and includes a commission structure along with a base salary.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior BMS Sales Engineer, you will drive the full sales cycle—identifying new business opportunities, managing project pipelines, and progressing leads from initial contact through contract closure. Your tasks will include:

  • Preparing and presenting detailed technical and commercial proposals for BMS projects.
  • Performing site visits and needs assessments to align solutions with client requirements.
  • Working closely with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate designs and cost estimations.
  • Engaging with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders through meetings, product demos, and pre-sales technical support.
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to continually refine sales strategies.
  • Supporting tender preparations, negotiations, and contract management to secure orders and strengthen long-term client relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in sales engineering within building automation or BMS, with the ability to translate technical requirements into competitive proposals.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC controls, low-current systems, fire alarm, security, and energy management integration.
  • Excellent communication skills to foster trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with BMS design or estimation tools.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing sales targets and managing a strategic sales pipeline.
  • Good analytical and negotiation capabilities.
  • Advanced certification in BMS or related fields is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interacting with contractors, consultants, and executing project-based sales.
  • Deep knowledge of the GCC market and local business development practices.
  • Ability to develop strong strategic partnerships and expand market reach in the building automation sector.
