We are seeking an experienced Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on driving revenue growth and expanding market presence within the logistics sector, including supply chain management, freight forwarding, and transportation services. The ideal candidate will connect operational capabilities with client needs, targeting shippers, manufacturers, and distributors to cultivate long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

The Logistics Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and managing strategic growth initiatives. This includes generating leads and building a strong sales pipeline by reaching out to exporters, importers, and e-commerce brands who require comprehensive freight, warehousing, and distribution services. Managing the full bidding process is critical—analyzing Requests for Proposals, designing competitive pricing solutions, and working closely with pricing and operations teams to convert bids into contracts.

Additionally, the role involves conducting thorough market research to spot emerging trends and untapped sectors, such as cold chain logistics or digital freight solutions. Collaborating with account management to upsell services like customs clearance, last-mile delivery, and value-added warehousing helps deepen client relationships. The Manager will also lead contract negotiations to establish service level agreements and pricing while ensuring company profitability.

Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with key decision-makers such as Supply Chain Directors and Procurement Heads forms an important part of this role. Success will be measured against KPIs including new revenue generation, pipeline growth, conversion rates of RFPs, and achieving gross margin targets.
