Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager or Senior Sales Executive specializing in logistics and freight forwarding B2B sales. This role is ideal for professionals with a proven track record of closing deals and bringing in new business immediately within the transportation sector. Only candidates based in Jeddah with a valid driver’s license and own car need apply.
Key Responsibilities
The primary mission is to generate new business from day one by leveraging your existing network and client relationships. You will focus on landing contracts with FMCG, pharmaceutical (cold-chain), industrial, and retail clients. Your daily activities will include:
- Identifying and developing new logistics sales opportunities including land transportation, sea, and air freight
- Promoting services such as flatbed, curtain side, and temperature-controlled trucking, as well as export/import shipments (FCL, LCL, breakbulk)
- Negotiating service agreements to optimize profitability
- Collaborating with operations teams to ensure excellent client satisfaction and retention
- Meeting and exceeding ambitious monthly and annual sales targets
- Maintaining accurate sales records and client data using CRM systems
Required Skills and Experience
We are looking for a results-driven sales professional with strong industry knowledge and an active client pipeline. Candidates must have:
- At least 5 years of proven B2B sales experience in transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding
- Demonstrated success in closing deals consistently within KSA
- Deep understanding of various trucking types and cold-chain logistics
- Strong existing client base or active leads in the Saudi Arabian market
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Professional appearance and confidence in client interactions
Qualifications and Additional Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in English is required, while Arabic language skills are an advantage. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM software is important. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, with nationalities from India, Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, or Palestine given preference.
