Job Overview

Spider Plus Trading LLC, a prominent leader in heavy equipment rental and construction support services across the GCC, is seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Executive to join its team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on enhancing financial operations and supporting strategic growth within the equipment rental and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Finance Executive will be responsible for managing comprehensive financial activities, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, and driving financial planning to improve profitability.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and KSA requirements.
• Oversee the management of general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, fixed asset accounting, and revenue recognition related to heavy machinery rental.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, forecasting, and financial variance analysis to guide operational performance.
• Create financial models to support fleet expansion and capital investment decisions.
• Supervise invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, credit control, vendor payments, and cash flow management to optimize working capital.
• Monitor and control costs related to maintenance, fuel, logistics, and manpower, providing recommendations to enhance profitability.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, ZATCA, and e-invoicing regulations, and coordinate audit processes while maintaining internal controls.
• Manage banking relationships, guarantees, and treasury activities to support liquidity management.
• Lead and mentor the finance team while driving improvements in ERP systems and financial reporting processes.
• Implement automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and uphold strong financial governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 5 to 8 years of senior-level finance experience, preferably within equipment rental, construction, heavy machinery, or other asset-intensive industries.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and Saudi VAT regulations.
• Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency with ERP financial systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and business partnering abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA.
• Experience working in the GCC or specifically the Saudi market.
• Arabic language proficiency.
• Understanding of fleet management and rental pricing strategies.
