A leading company in woodwork and interior finishing, located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a skilled Woodwork Estimator and Shop Drawing Specialist. This role is essential for accurately estimating project costs and producing detailed shop drawings to support production and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing precise cost estimates for various woodwork projects, performing quantity take-offs, and preparing material schedules based on project drawings. Additionally, the role involves producing detailed quotations with cost breakdowns and creating shop drawings that guide production and installation processes. Close coordination with project teams is required to review drawings and ensure alignment throughout execution.

Required Skills

• Strong ability to estimate woodwork costs and knowledge of associated materials and finishes
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and joinery drawings
• Experience in quantity take-off and comprehensive project costing
• Skilled in using AutoCAD for preparing detailed shop drawings
• Competent in Microsoft Excel for cost calculations and material schedules

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess previous experience in woodwork project estimation, including hands-on skills in creating shop drawings. A solid understanding of joinery techniques, wood finishes, and related materials is essential to perform effectively in this role.
