Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Architectural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves handling architectural projects from initial concept development through to final execution. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating architectural designs, performing site inspections, and preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to support smooth and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The Architectural Engineer will be responsible for:

• Developing architectural design concepts, detailed drawings, and comprehensive plans for various projects.
• Conducting site surveys, measurements, and feasibility studies before project commencement.
• Preparing BOQs, material take-offs, and cost estimates aligned with project specifications and drawings.
• Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure design precision and adherence to standards.
• Ensuring all designs comply with local regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Supporting project documentation, approval processes, and preparing technical reports as required.
• Updating and revising drawings and designs during the project lifecycle to meet evolving requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and on-site work.
• Strong expertise in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and material specification.
• Proficiency with design software platforms including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and 3D rendering tools such as Lumion, Enscape, 3ds Max Corona, or D5 Render.
• Experience conducting thorough site inspections and feasibility assessments.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize project requirements.
• Possession of a valid transferable iqama and driver’s license is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
• Well-versed in construction methodologies and comprehensive finishing details.
• Knowledge of local authority submission procedures and regulatory compliance.
