Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. This role is ideal for professionals with strong accounting skills, experience in VAT compliance, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks including daily account maintenance, cash handling, and bank reconciliations. Key duties include:

• Managing daily accounts and financial records
• Processing cash transactions, receipts, and payments
• Monitoring company expenses and income
• Maintaining and verifying inventory records and stock levels
• Handling billing, invoicing, and customer payment processing
• Maintaining daily daybooks and ledger accounts
• Reconciling bank statements accurately
• Overseeing VAT filing and ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabia’s VAT regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 to 5 years of proven accounting experience
• Good knowledge of Saudi VAT laws is preferred
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills
• Proficient with MS Excel and ERP software such as SAP, Tally, or Oracle
• Fluent in Arabic and English; preference given to Keralite candidates
