Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at the Rabigh site, with occasional office work in Dammam as required. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with visa transfer support, along with provided food and accommodation.

The position requires a commitment of six working days per week, with a 10-hour workday, primarily based on-site in Rabigh.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the general ledger and maintaining accurate accounting records. Key duties include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, performing reconciliations for banks, vendors, and accounts, and ensuring full compliance with Saudi tax regulations, including VAT and Zakat requirements. The role also involves supporting external audits, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with budget preparation, conducting financial analyses, and maintaining internal controls and documentation. Coordination with other departments on financial aspects is also expected.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ relevant accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi taxation laws and Zakat.
• Experience with financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliations.
• Proficient with ERP and accounting systems such as Zoho, SAP, Oracle, or comparable platforms.
• Strong understanding of VAT regulations and tax compliance standards.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Ability to work independently while managing deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Immediate availability is highly desirable.

Work Environment

This is a site-based role located in Rabigh with periodic presence in the Dharan office as required. The position operates under a six-day workweek, demanding ten hours per day.
