Al Abid is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Jeddah. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to assist with daily accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions and assisting with a variety of accounting tasks, including:

• Maintaining up-to-date financial records in the accounting software
• Preparing invoices, receipts, and payment documentation
• Reconciling bank statements and company accounts
• Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows
• Organizing and filing financial documents systematically
• Assisting in compiling financial reports and statements
• Collaborating with internal departments to gather necessary financial information

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
• Open to candidates of Indian, Pakistani, or Filipino nationality

Preferred Experience

• One to two years of relevant accounting experience
• Familiarity with VAT regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia
