We are seeking a skilled Cost Accountant to join a reputable manufacturing company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role requires expertise in managing manufacturing costs, inventory control, and financial reporting to enhance the company’s cost efficiency and support operational success.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for closely monitoring production expenses and performing detailed cost analyses. Duties include preparing comprehensive cost reports, conducting variance and budgeting analyses, and tracking the costs of raw materials, labor, and overhead. Maintaining precise inventory and cost accounting records is essential, along with supporting monthly financial closings. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with production and finance teams to control costs and identify opportunities for savings and process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and bring 3 to 5 years of proven experience in cost accounting within the manufacturing sector. Candidates must have a solid understanding of costing methodologies, inventory management, and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills are highly valued. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
